    Job Title: Inventory Clerk / Warehouse Associate

    Job Description

    As an Inventory Clerk, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our trade's staff is equipped with the necessary tools and equipment for effective and efficient job performance. Your responsibilities include managing inventory, maintaining equipment, and developing relationships with suppliers.

    Responsibilities

    + Order and stock supplies for facilities trades departments, including tools, equipment, and materials.

    + Work closely with trade's staff to identify needs and provide necessary supplies and equipment.

    + Maintain accurate inventory records, tracking the location and status of all equipment and supplies.

    + Check expensive tools in and out, ensuring proper maintenance and return in good condition.

    + Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to secure best prices and quality products.

    + Ensure all equipment is stored and maintained properly, conducting regular inspections and maintenance checks.

    + Coordinate with trade's staff for scheduling regular maintenance and repairs for equipment and tools.

    + Store supplies in a safe and organized manner, complying with safety regulations and standards.

    + Monitor and track expenses related to supplies and equipment, ensuring budget adherence.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in inventory, warehouse, and supply coordination.

    + Proficiency in data entry, warehouse inventory, and management.

    + Skills in using RF scanners and providing customer service.

    + Experience in sorting and inventory control.

    + High School Diploma or GED.

    + 2-3 years of experience in supply and inventory management.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

    + Ability to work effectively with trades staff, suppliers, and vendors.

    + Proficient in using inventory management software and tools.

    + Knowledge of safety regulations and standards for equipment and supplies.

    + Experience in facilities trades department is preferred.

    + Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment.

    + Must be willing to submit to a background check.

    Work in our new facilities supply warehouse, located at JHU Homewood, where you will be part of a dynamic and organized team.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract position based out of Baltimore, MD.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.

    Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job

    classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
