    Description

    General Responsibilities

    Perform all duties assigned to Assistant Compounder, Compounder III, and Compounding Storage Area Technician.

    Follow daily manufacturing processes for cosmetic products and assist with pharmaceutical products, ensuring:

    Safety

    Quality

    cGMP compliance

    Production efficiency

     

    Understand and adhere to all applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

    Accurately maintain and complete departmental logbooks in compliance with SOP requirements.

    Possess an in-depth understanding of compounding techniques for cosmetics and pharmaceutical assistance, including:

    Emulsions

    Anhydrous products

    Gels

    Liquids

    Powders

    Dyes

     

    Ensure compliance with cGMP requirements and company guidelines.

    Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and housekeeping.

    Operate and understand manufacturing equipment, including:

    Pumps, silos, mills, kettles, mixers

    In-line and drop-in homogenizers

    Temperature gauges, DI water systems

    Valves, pressure gauges, screw conveyors

    Scales and pH meters

     

    Follow all check-weigh procedures for weighing raw and active materials.

    Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

    Perform other duties as assigned.

    The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $52000.00/yr.
