    Salary: $28.25/Hour or Hourly Rate (higher of two)

    Report Times: 8:15am - 2:45pm

     

    Daily Hours: 6.5

     

    Work Year: ESY 2026

     

    Supervisor: District Medical Director

     

    Civil Service Title: (Civil Service Title: Licensed Practical Nurse)

    Minimum Requirements:

    Nursing (RN) license or valid New York State Licensed Professional Nursing (LPN) license.

     

    MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK THE ENTIRE SUMMER SESSION (July 6 through August 14, 2026)

     

    Must be available one day between June 29th and July 2nd to receive medications.

    Desired Qualifications:

    Working knowledge of practical nursing techniques;

     

    Computer skills; able to type reports as needed;

     

    Have a desire to work with elementary/secondary school students with disabilities;

     

    Ability to accurately record and report health/medical information;

     

    Strong organizational skills;

     

    Strong interpersonal skills;

     

    Professional CPR/AED;

     

    Ability to work with students and parents.

    Position Summary/Responsibilities:

    Performs medical and/or emergency treatments of injuries and illness of students and staff as required;

     

    Dispenses medications as needed;

     

    Daily attendance is expected.
