Corporate Recruiter – Harrison, OH (JOB ID: 1328).
At Cincinnati Incorporated, we don't just fill positions; we build the teams that drive American manufacturing forward. We are looking for a Corporate Recruiter who operates with a "Business Partner" mindset—someone who can own the full-cycle process, build deep relationships with company leaders, and act as a brand ambassador for our legacy of innovation.
Position Summary and Purpose: As our Corporate Recruiter, you are the face of the company. You will lead the charge in identifying top-tier talent, from skilled trades and technical engineering to corporate leadership. You will go beyond traditional job boards, using a consultative approach to source, sell, and close the best talent in the industry.
Duties and Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL:
+ Full-Cycle Ownership: Lead the intake, sourcing, screening, and offer process for all open requisitions.
+ Strategic Sourcing: Proactively identify passive talent through LinkedIn, Boolean searches, professional networks, and niche manufacturing associations.
+ Hiring Manager Partnership: Collaborate with leadership to define job requirements and coach them on competency-based interviewing and selection best practices.
+ Candidate Experience: Ensure every applicant receives timely, professional, and transparent communication, reflecting our core values.
+ Build the Pipeline: Develop long-term relationships with universities and vocational schools to build out a top-tier pipeline of candidates.
+ Data-Driven Recruiting: Leverage our ATS to track metrics and use data-driven insights to improve time-to-fill and quality-of-hire.
+ Compliance & Branding: Ensure all processes meet OFCCP/EEO/ADA guidelines while simultaneously driving our employer branding through social media and community events.
Education and Experience:
REQUIRED:
+ 3-5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience. Experience in a manufacturing, automotive, or heavy industrial environment is highly preferred.
+ Technical Knowledge: Familiarity recruiting for corporate operations, mechanical/electrical engineers, and skilled production roles.
+ Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or a technical discipline.
+ Certifications: PHR, SPHR, or SHRM-CP/SCP is a plus.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
REQUIRED:
+ Proven ability to use warm and cold calling/messaging to reach potential applicants.
+ Adaptability: The ability to pivot quickly in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
+ Expertise in ATS platforms.
+ Impeccable professional image and social media presence.
+ Strong negotiating and persuasion skills to close high-level candidates.
+ A collaborative spirit—working with the HR team and Leadership to align hiring with the company's workforce plan.
Physical Demands & Work Environment: To successfully perform the essential functions of this role, the physical demands and work environment characteristics described below are representative of those an employee may encounter.
Physical Demands: This role requires regular periods of sitting, keyboarding, and computer-based work, as well as occasional standing and walking. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 15 pounds as needed (e.g., recruitment materials or job fair displays). Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment: Work is primarily performed in a professional office setting with moderate noise levels; however, the role may periodically require visits to the manufacturing floor or other operational areas where exposure to non-climate-controlled environments, moving mechanical equipment, and standard industrial noise levels may occur. Limited exposure to fumes, airborne particles, or chemicals may occur during such visits. Travel up to 10% may be required for job fairs, campus recruiting, industry events, or visits to remote facilities or candidates.
This role does not offer sponsorship employment benefits and being authorized to work in the U.S. is a precondition of employment. You must be a U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, or recent lawful permanent resident to apply.
