Job Description
Participates in the ongoing process to identify opportunities to refine applications and workflow to meet business objectives, including assimilating applications, workflows, and operations to improve efficiency and outcomes internally and patient service externally.
Job Responsibility
+ Provides strategic advice and guidance to the Revenue Cycle function. Assists in executing workplans to complete enterprise design; implementation of enterprise revenue cycle systems and transformed workflows.
+ Implements training program to effectively balance classroom, web-based and practical application forums to manage the diverse educational needs of adult learner demographic.
+ Collaborates with revenue cycle leadership to routinely monitor strategic operating goals and objectives and confirm ongoing transformation alignment with goals.
+ Implements policies and procedures to facilitate the efficient functioning of related departments; promotes optimal efficiency and productivity by integrating functions across service lines.

Preferred Skills
+ Ability to provide strategic medical record management guidance and support to front-end ambulatory physician practice locations and team members.
+ Ability to advise by providing education, recommendations, and perspectives to ambulatory site staff and leadership on medical record management best practices in adherence with Northwell Policies.
+ Ability to lead EMR implementation projects, new provider/practice onboards, and implement indexing support plans to ensure compliant medical record scanning and retention strategies are in place.
+ Can work in hybrid EMR systems and identify areas for improvement for medical record management efficiencies and interoperability opportunities.
+ Analyze, design, and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency in medical record scanning and indexing processes.
+ Can navigate and coordinate vendor technical support and systems access tracking and maintenance.
+ Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation of workflow and processes design and modifications for efficiency.
+ Work collaboratively with both clinical and administrative cross-functional teams to optimize HIM processes ensuring access to a complete and accurate medical record.
+ Maintain a commitment to accuracy and consistency in medical record handling and data management.
_As an Advisor, Revenue Cycle (Health Information Management) you will play a key role in the Ambulatory Health Information Department. This individual contributor role will leverage knowledge of front-end ambulatory operations and physician office workflows, demonstrate the ability to analyze, design, and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency in medical record scanning and indexing processes. This role will incorporate proficiency in managing and training workflows within Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems like Epic and Hyland OnBase. This role requires a dynamic professional who can execute complex projects effectively, multitask across cross-functional initiatives, and compile data-driven insights for senior leadership communication and presentations to provide education and influence diverse audiences, from clinical staff to executive leadership, while collaboratively optimizing Health Information Management processes to ensure complete and accurate medical record access, maintenance, and retention._
Job Qualification
+ Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
+ 10+ years of relevant experience and 2+ years of leadership / management experience, required.

The salary range for this position is $66220-$108180/year
