Role Overview:

+ Passionate about hospitality and dedicated to delivering outstanding communication at all times.

+ You will perform a variety of functions to ensure wonderful service to all patients, staff, and visitors in the hospital.

Key Qualifications:

+ Review patient meal ticket for all vital information (i.e., name, room number, diet order, time of order); ensures that corrective action is taken (e.g., contacting Diet Office) if information is incorrect or missing

+ Set up patient tray neatly, according to guidelines, to include hot and cold food items and all other vital items (e.g., silverware, china, beverage, condiments, etc.); places appropriate covers for each dish and beverage

+ Check assembled tray for accuracy and completeness prior to loading onto tray delivery cart

+ Load hot and cold tray delivery cart onto cargo master and dispatches to unit as specified on tray ticket

+ Ensure trays prepped and appropriately dispatched according to time printed on ticket

+ Advise room service associate on unit, via Nextel radio, that a cart has been sent to that unit

+ Supervises inventory of supplies (e.g., silverware, napkins, china, condiments, beverages, etc.) before and after each meal service

+ Preparation of cold food items as needed

+ Completes Storeroom Requisition Form as needed and submits to supervisor for approval to maintain par levels

Core Skills:

+ Ability to read, write, and understand basic instructions

+ Experience working in hospitality: hotels, restaurants, and food & beverage or similar field.

Hours:

+ Flexible hours including nights, weekends & holidays.

+ 37.5 hours per week

Pay Range: $22.42 - $28.77
