Aramark is hiring a **General Maintenance Worker** to support facilities operations at **Oriana House in Cleveland, Ohio** . This position is responsible for performing a wide variety of building and maintenance tasks, ensuring the facility remains safe, functional, and well-maintained.

This role is ideal for a multi-skilled maintenance professional who is comfortable handling many types of interior repair and upkeep tasks. If you are someone who is “good at many things” and takes pride in solving problems hands-on, this role offers steady work in a mission-driven environment.

Job Responsibilities

+ Perform general maintenance and repair of buildings and facility systems

+ Repair fixtures and hardware including doors, windows, locks, minor appliances, and office equipment

+ Conduct routine inspections of assigned areas and address maintenance needs as identified

+ Complete daily, weekly, and monthly preventive maintenance checklists

+ Identify and report major maintenance issues and recommend corrective actions

+ Safely and efficiently use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment

+ Maintain a friendly, professional, and customer-focused demeanor

+ Adapt to changing priorities and customer needs

+ Participate in required training and demonstrate commitment to professional development

+ Follow all Aramark safety policies, procedures, and applicable regulations

Qualifications

+ Previous general maintenance or building maintenance experience preferred

+ Multi-skilled background with the ability to perform a variety of repair tasks

+ Basic knowledge of carpentry, painting, drywall repair, and light plumbing

+ Ability to follow safety procedures due to physical job demands

+ Strong verbal and written communication skills

+ Ability to adapt to changing priorities and customer needs

+ Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
