Overview
As a Senior Product Manager on the Microsoft Teams Instrumentation team, you will lead the evolution of our telemetry and data systems
This role is pivotal in shaping how we collect, analyze, and act on data at scale to drive product excellence, solid fundamentals, and customer satisfaction. You will work at the intersection of product, engineering, and data science to deliver high-impact solutions that power insights across the Teams ecosystem.

Responsibilities
+ Drive the strategy and execution for large-scale telemetry and clickstream data systems that support Microsoft Teams.
+ Partner with engineering, data science, and product teams to define and deliver next-generation instrumentation frameworks and data pipelines.
+ Lead cross-functional initiatives from inception to launch, ensuring alignment across multiple teams and stakeholders.
+ Influence and collaborate with senior leaders across the organization to drive adoption of data-driven decision-making.
+ Define and prioritize product requirements with a strong focus on customer impact, scalability, and performance.
+ Champion the application of AI across the instrumentation lifecycle to increase productivity, improve data quality, strengthen governance, streamline pipelines, and unlock downstream insights.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development OR equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development OR equivalent experience.
+ 2+ years experience taking a product, feature, or experience to market (e.g., design, addressing product market fit, and launch, internal tool/framework).
+ 4+ years experience improving product metrics for a product, feature, or experience in a market (e.g., growing customer base, expanding customer usage, avoiding customer churn).
+ 4+ years experience disrupting a market for a product, feature, or experience (e.g., competitive disruption, taking the place of an established competing product).
+ 5+ years of industry experience working with large, distributed datasets (e.g., clickstream and/or event-level data).
+ Experience leading multi‑disciplinary product teams and presenting to senior/executive stakeholders.
+ Hands‑on experience using AI tools to solve complex problems.
+ Proficiency in data analysis tooling with ability to translate data into actionable insights.
+ Background in data privacy, compliance, or governance.
Product Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.
