    Mountain Valley Spring Water - Maintenance Mechanic Hiring Event

    Positions(s) and Compensation

     

    Maintenance Mechanic II: $35.64 / hour

     

    Maintenance Mechanic III: $40.82 / hour

     

    - 6%-8% of base hourly rate paid for applicable hours worked shift differential

     

    - Earn up to $1.00 / hour increase after 6 months

     

    - $4000 sign on bonus (payable after 90 days of employment)

     

    Schedule

     

    6:00 pm - 6:30 am, 12 hour rotational shift 2/2/3

     

    Ability to train on day shift is required

     

    Ability to work holidays and weekends per business needs

    Responsibilities

    Summary – Mechanic II Overview

     

    Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on plant equipment, troubleshoot mechanical/electrical systems, reduce downtime through PM programs, and support production areas. Maintain logs, rebuild components, and collaborate with vendors to ensure safe, efficient operations.

     

    Summary - Mechanic III Overview

     

    Lead and execute preventative and reactive maintenance on production equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and utility systems. Perform machine teardowns, repairs, and upgrades; troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, and motors; weld and fabricate parts; and support installations and special projects. Provide operator coaching and ensure safe, efficient operations.

    Qualifications

    Requirements

    High School Diploma or GED (technical training/certifications preferred)

     

    Must pass Mechanical Aptitude Test

     

    Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with CMMS or ERP systems (SAP preferred)

     

    Ability to read mechanical drawings, schematics, and OEM technical prints

     

    Physical ability to climb, reach overhead, and lift up to 50 lbs

     

    Flexible for call-ins, shift coverage, weekends, and holidays

     

    Commitment to safety and positive attitude in a fast-paced environment

     

    Strong communication and teamwork skills; able to work independently

     

    Comfortable in high-speed production environments; sense of urgency required

     

    Mechanic II Additional Requirements

     

    3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment is required

     

    Experience with compressors, chillers, water treatment, and boilers preferred

     

    Strong knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical systems, and water processing

     

    Electrical skills: single & three-phase power, motor diagnostics/replacement

     

    Mechanic III Additional Requirements

     

    5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment is required

     

    Strong mechanical and electrical skills; PLC experience preferred

     

    Electrical knowledge of single & three-phase power; ability to diagnose/replace motors
