    Special Education Teacher – Early Childhood

     

    Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:50 AM – 3:40 PM

     

    Start Date: January 5th through End of School Year

     

    Are you passionate about shaping the future for young learners? We’re looking for a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team and provide exceptional services to early childhood students. In this role, you’ll collaborate with a supportive team to design and implement individualized programs that help students thrive academically and socially.

    What You’ll Do:

    • Deliver high-quality instruction and support for Pre-K students with diverse learning needs

    • Partner with general education staff to create inclusive learning environments

    • Develop goals, attend meetings, and provide expert guidance to ensure student success

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university preferred

    • Valid state teaching certificate as required by state, contract/district regulations

    • Endorsement: Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) required, ECE endorsement preferred

    • Minimum of one year teaching experience preferred

    • Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

    Caseload Details:

    • Monday–Wednesday: float between two Pre-K schools

    • Thursday–Friday: attend meetings and create student goals

    • 28 total students split between two classrooms
