Special Education Teacher – $45/hr – San Antonio, TX

Overview:

We are seeking experienced Special Education Teachers to provide quality services in the San Antonio, TX area.

Position Details:

+ Location: San Antonio, TX

+ Schedule: Monday–Friday

+ Hours: Full-time, 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM

+ Duration: 20 weeks

+ Pay Rate: $45/hr

Responsibilities:

+ Designs and delivers individualized instruction aligned with students’ IEP goals, using differentiated strategies to support diverse learning needs

+ Creates a structured, supportive classroom environment that promotes academic growth and social-emotional development

+ Collaborates closely with families, related service providers, and general education staff to ensure consistent support and progress monitoring

+ Implements behavior-support plans, data-driven interventions, and evidence-based practices to foster positive behavior and student independence

Requirements:

+ Valid Texas Special Education Teaching Certificate

+ Generalist or Core Certification preferred

+ Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (preferred)

+ Minimum 1 year of teaching experience (preferred)

+ Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

+ Must be at least 18 years of age
