    Job Title: Forklift Operator / Packaging Associate

     

    Type: Long Term Contract

     

    Compensation: $20 per hour (some overtime is expected)

     

    Contractor Work Model: Onsite (Athens, GA)

     

    Hours: Monday - Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM

    Forklift Operator / Packaging Associate Responsibilities:

    + Operates various production equipment, safely operates sit-down forklifts in a ISO-9001 certified, cGMP production environment

    + Checks quality of packaging and ensures highest standards of quality are achieved

    + Creates labels and places labels on packaging as required

    + Packs product into boxes, palletizes, labels, shrink wraps pallets and uses forklifts to move materials to warehouse

    + Maintains production goals and notifies manager of any machine breakdowns or problem

    + Inspects product accurately and efficiently to meet quality guidelines

     

    Perform equipment change-overs including setting-up production runs and sanitizing machinery

     

    Ensure proper cGMP documentation is completed

     

    Preparation of QA Line clearances (small volume line)

    Forklift Operator / Packaging Associate Requirements:

    + High school diploma or equivalent is required. Post high school training or schooling is desirable

    + At least one (1) year of prior Warehouse and/or Manufacturing experience, including the safe operation of a sit-down forklift. Preferably from another pharmaceutical or other ISO-9001 certified manufacturing environment

    + Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English

    + Valid Georgia driver’s license may be required
