    Requisition Summary

    PACCAR Engine Company has an immediate opening for a Safety Intern in Columbus, MS.

     

    Job Functions / Responsibilities

    Special Project Assistance including, but not limited to:

    •Assist in Creating Safety Information Boards for each Department

    •Assist Safety Manager in Creating Confined Space Inventory Listing

    •Conduct Monthly Inspections in Facility to Improve Safety Knowledge

    •Assist Safety Manager with Upgrading of Facility Evacuation Maps

    •Review Policies and Procedures

    •File Audits and Improve Record Keeping for Safety Documentation

    + Create HR Safety Dashboard using Data Analytics

    •Other tasks as assigned

    Qualifications & Skills

    •Pursuing B.S. Degree in Human Resource, Industrial Hygiene, Safety, or Manufacturing Engineering

    •MS Office proficiency (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint).

    •Proven ability to work in a self-directed environment required.
