Job Overview:
NYRA is seeking a polished, hospitality-first leader to oversee the newly formed Premium Experience department. This individual will be a key member of the Experience Team, ensuring world-class service delivery at both Saratoga Racecourse and the new Belmont Park.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional who works independently with minimal supervision and excels at establishing and implementing projects, programs, and processes that support NYRA's Premium Experience strategy. They will leverage advanced hospitality expertise to develop best-in-class policies, procedures, and operational plans for both venues while tracking guest service issues, coordinating guest needs, and ensuring exceptional experiences for all patrons.
Essential Functions:
• Develops and oversees the Premium Experience department as the main liason to NYRA’s VIP Guests.
• Manages daily operations and performance of the Premium Dining Hosts and Premium Experience Specialists teams.
• Maintains client database and develops personalized "surprise and delight" program.
• Partners with the NYRA Premium Sales team to deliver seamless client experiences and maintain premium service standards.
• Works cross-functionally with NYRABets VIP, Racing Relations, and other departments to enhance hospitality offerings and event experiences.
• Collaborates with food service partners to ensure consistent delivery of best-in-class food and service quality.
• Works independently under limited supervision to execute tasks for the Experiences team, exercising a high level of decision making to effectively resolve problems and roadblocks as they occur.
• Leads premium experience operations during events, ensuring all processes align with best practices.
• Resolves escalated guest issues by applying problem-solving skills and service expertise.
• Supports the development and refinement of premium experience policies and procedures.
• Provides mentorship to junior team members, sharing insights and best practices to improve service delivery.
Qualifications:
• 8-10+ years of related experience required
• Preferred experience in horse racing hospitality
• Bachelor’s degree

Pay Range / Salary: $97,200
