    Job Description

    As a Sales Coach at this client, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing sales performance and refining sales techniques across the organization. Your primary focus will be on embedding the Professional Sales Academy (APSA) methodology, ensuring that sales professionals adopt a value and solution-based sales approach. While primarily focused on the USA, you will also support our Spain and Mexico teams when required.

     

    • Sales Coaching: Spend 100% of your time with field and desk-based sales reps, providing real-time coaching, behavioral modeling, and structured feedback sessions to reinforce learning and optimize performance.

    • One-on-One and Peer Coaching: Conduct individual and peer-to-peer coaching sessions to develop sales skills and techniques.

    • Live Feedback: Deliver real-time feedback and behavioral modeling during live sales interactions, both in the field and virtually.

    • Collaboration: Align with Sales Leaders and the Regional Training Manager to understand and address individual and team coaching needs.

    • Performance Reporting: Provide weekly performance updates to the Regional Training Lead and Sales Managers and prepare monthly reports for the Country Managing Director.

    • Consultative Selling: Guide sales reps in transitioning from transactional selling to consultative, value-driven conversations.

     

    Must reside in the Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas Metro area and be able to commit to 60% travel.

    Skills and Requirements

    Ideal Candidate Profile:

    • Experience: 5+ years in sales or sales management, preferably in B2B, field sales, or solution selling.

    • Coaching: Proven capability to coach, inspire, develop, and constructively challenge sales professionals.

    • Sales Expertise: Strong understanding of the full sales cycle, customer engagement, and negotiation strategies.

    • Communication Skills: Strong ability to deliver direct, actionable, and motivating feedback in real time.

    • Problem-Solving: Quick analysis of sales calls/interactions to provide tailored coaching solutions.

    • Empathy & Emotional Intelligence: Ability to build trust, provide support, and adapt coaching styles to different personalities.

    • Methodologies: Familiarity with the Challenger Sales methodology is beneficial.

    • Solution Selling: Established competence in solution selling or consultative sales, with the ability to identify customer challenges and tailor solutions to meet their needs.

    • Industry Knowledge: Previous experience selling capital equipment, health & safety products, or technology solutions to relevant customers (e.g., Warehouses, Logistics Factories, Airports).

    • Language Skills: Spanish language ability is desirable/preferred.
