    Job Description

    We are seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to join our corporate security team. This role focuses on insider threat protection and data loss prevention and requires expertise in monitoring sensitive information across email systems and tracking data outside of enterprise boundaries. The engineer will manage the Variato tool, perform random sampling of email logs and attachments, and collaborate closely with the corporate security team to ensure data integrity and prevent loss.

    Responsibilities include:

    Monitor sensitive information in emails and track potential data exfiltration

     

    Manage and maintain Variato and similar insider threat tools

     

    Conduct random sampling of email logs, attachments, and other data sources

     

    Work with corporate security team to enforce security policies and procedures

     

    Support insider threat investigations and threat management activities

    Skills and Requirements

    5+ years of experience in an insider threat role (e.g., Security Engineer, Threat Analyst, Threat Management)

     

    Hands-on experience with insider threat protection tools; familiarity with Variato required, Encase or similar technologies preferred

     

    Experience working with Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions

     

    Strong understanding of email monitoring, sensitive data tracking, and log analysis

     

    Ability to manage and maintain security tools and perform random sampling of email logs, attachments, and data

     

    Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance Military background preferred, especially in communications or intelligence

     

    Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
