ABM, a leading provider of integrated facility solutions, is looking for a Maintenance Tech.
The Maintenance Tech is responsible for mechanical service calls and in-house repairs throughout facility and grounds. With some supervision will perform work in more than one of the maintenance trades including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and painting. Working with contractors.
**Pay:** $42/HR
The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

Purpose Statement
+ Responsible for mechanical service calls and in-house repairs throughout facility and grounds. With some supervision will perform work in more than one of the maintenance trades including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and painting. Working with contractors.
Responsibilities:
+ Performs building maintenance as required, i.e. painting, plumbing repairs, etc.
+ Performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on facilities equipment, i.e. air compressor, HVAC system, etc.
+ Will work from rough sketches and drawings.
+ Oversee contract work.
+ Maintain and update maintenance records, logs, and documentation in accordance with ISO, GMP, and company policies.
+ Respond to facility alarms, excursions, and emergency situations, ensuring systems return to operational standards quickly. Being able to be on call and work after hours.
+ Support cleanroom environmental controls, including pressure differentials, temperature, humidity, and particle monitoring.
+ Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Production teams to support cleanroom operations and continuous improvement.
+ Follow all cleanroom contamination control procedures, including proper gowning, sanitization, and cleaning protocols.
+ Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and company EHS (Environmental Health & Safety) programs.

+ Errors may be difficult to detect and would normally result in loss of customer business, material, or equipment to resolve.

Qualifications:
+ • At least 5 years of experience in Facilities Technician or equivalent related functions.
+ • Strong knowledge of HVAC, filtration systems, and building utilities.
+ • Basic understanding of electrical, fire alarm systems and control systems.
+ • Familiarity with ISO 14644 cleanroom classifications and GMP regulations (preferred).
+ • Ability to follow SOPs and detailed maintenance procedures.
+ • Proficiency in using hand tools, test instruments, and maintenance equipment.
+ • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
+ • Excellent attention to detail, with strong written and verbal.
+ **Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**
+ • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade school certification preferred.
+ • 3+ years of experience in facilities maintenance, HVAC, or cleanroom environment (manufacturing, pharma, biotech, or semiconductor experience preferred).
+ • Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS) and preventive maintenance programs a plus.
+ • OSHA safety training (Lockout/Tagout, confined space, PPE) preferred, complete knowledge of the job.
