    ### Job Duties

    Job Responsibilities:

    Design, develop, and deliver highly efficient and scalable software using Java, C#, Python, .NET, Spring Boot, microservices, and APIs.

     

    Enhance and maintain on-premise and internal PaaS applications, and lead efforts to migrate them to AWS according to project timelines.

     

    Design and implement serverless architectures from containerized applications.

     

    Build and maintain industry-standard APIs, including call routing, connectivity protocols, and security policies.

     

    Design and implement architecture patterns optimized for SLA compliance, reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency.

     

    Proactively evaluate upstream and downstream system impacts to anticipate long-term technical consequences.

     

    Promote a culture of software craftsmanship, including TDD/BDD, unit and integration testing, CI/CD, and automation best practices.

     

    Drive performance improvements through monitoring, metrics, trend analysis, and cost optimization.

     

    Ensure compliance with security standards and privacy regulations throughout the development lifecycle.

     

    Actively identify, reduce, and prevent technical debt.

     

    Participate in Agile development practices, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

     

    Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, communicating clearly and effectively.

     

    Lead code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.

     

    Create and maintain technical documentation and playbooks.

     

    Analyze and communicate tradeoffs between usability, performance, and scalability.

     

    Manage timelines effectively and meet delivery deadlines.

     

    Administer product upgrades, patches, and releases.

     

    Provide support to team members, including production troubleshooting and maintenance.

     

    Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation.

     

    ### Minimum Education Required

    High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.

    ### Minimum Experience Required

    2+ years of professional experience in Java, full-stack, C#, .NET, and/or Python development.

     

    Experience with GitHub/GitLab, SonarQube, JUnit, and Spring Boot.

     

    Strong experience with TDD/BDD, including unit and integration testing.

     

    Hands-on experience with service virtualization and test automation tools (WireMock, Mockito, etc.).

     

    Experience creating automated backend and data-flow tests using tools such as Postman, REST Assured, Cypress, ReadyAPI.

     

    Experience with CI tools such as Jenkins or CircleCI.

     

    Hands-on experience with AWS cloud and serverless technologies, including ECS, EKS, S3, Lambda, SQS/SNS, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, SageMaker, and Athena.

     

    Experience with relational and object-oriented databases, RESTful APIs, microservices, and web services.

     

    Experience working in Agile environments using workload management tools (e.g., VersionOne, Agility).

     

    Strong troubleshooting, deployment, and system integration experience.

     

    Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

     

    Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments.

     

    Flexible mindset with a willingness to take on new challenges.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems with 4+ years of experience, or a Master’s degree with 2+ years of experience.

     

    Experience generating automation test reports using Cucumber Reports, Extent Reports, or similar tools.

     

    Experience with OpenShift.

     

    Working knowledge of MQ.

     

    AWS Certification.

     

    DevOps or automation experience in testing, building, and deployment.

     

    Experience developing software in the airline industry.

     

    Knowledge of Windows Server and Client UX operating systems.
