    Senior Manager, Social Media & Digital Content (2026-2)

    SUMMARY

    Reporting to the Director of Content, this role sits above day-to-day channel management and works closely with Marketing Communications Managers to ensure the AAA’s content is strategic, data-driven, and consistently executed. This is a hands-on role for someone who can translate strategy into high-performing content.

     

    The successful applicant will have a hybrid work arrangement and must reside within a 125-mile radius of our NYHQ located in the Financial District. The starting salary range for the position is between $84,500 - $89,500. This role is eligible for an incentive opportunity targeting 10% of annual salary.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    + Social Media Strategy, Planning & Optimization

    + Work with the Communications team to execute the AAA's social media content strategy, with a primary focus on LinkedIn.

    + Build and maintain content calendars, translating strategic priorities into executable plans aligned with campaigns, events, launches, and thought leadership.

    + Use analytics and performance data to identify what's working and recommend optimizations (format, timing, messaging, visuals)

    + Collaborate closely with Marketing Communications Managers

    + Hands-On Content Production

    + Create and publish social content, including short-form videos (PlayPlay), visual assets (Canva), and copy

    + Adapt and repurpose content from various sources, including blogs, reports, podcasts, webinars, and events.

    + Apply AAA's brand voice, editorial standards, and strategic priorities to content across channels.

    + Collaborate with the graphic designer on creative development and coordinate with external agencies as needed on select projects.

    + Website & CMS Management

    + Upload, publish, and maintain content in Umbraco CMS, including blogs and landing pages.

    + Support digital campaigns through timely and accurate website updates

    + Coordinate with internal teams to ensure content quality and consistency

    + Build and maintain event- and course-related landing pages using PushPlanet, ensuring pages are accurate, on brand, and launched on schedule

    + SEO & Digital Content Support

    + Support SEO efforts across website and blog content, including keyword implementation, on-page optimization, and internal linking.

    + Ensure SEO best practices are embedded into content creation and publishing workflows.

    + Writing & Editorial Support

    + Write and edit blog posts, social copy, and digital content as needed

    + Translate complex topics (legal, ADR, AI, innovation) into clear, engaging content for digital audiences

    + Tools, Technology & Process

    + Work comfortably across content and marketing tools, including social platforms, analytics, PlayPlay, Canva, and CMS tools.

    + Identify opportunities to improve workflows, content performance, and efficiency.

    + Attend on-site meetings and training sessions.

    + Demonstrate regular, reliable, and predictable job attendance.

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    + Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field, or an equivalent mix of education and experience

    + 5–8 years of progressive experience in social media and digital content management

    + Demonstrated portfolio of social and digital content production, including video

    + Hands-on experience with CMS platforms (Umbraco preferred) and SEO fundamentals

    + Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and external agencies
