JOB SUMMARY:
Supports division leadership by overseeing the operational support of video surveillance systems and equipment property wide. Ensures that all surveillance operational requirements are incorporate by project teams for new projects. Responsible for the development and management of all surveillance standards and operating procedures. Manages the daily operation of the surveillance team. Responsible for development, planning and execution of all surveillance projects within the Security Technology department. Participates in a rotating “on call” program.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Manages the operation of the Security surveillance team and provides operational support of multiple video surveillance systems property wide. Works closely with both internal and external partners to ensure all repairs and replacements are completed in a timely manner. Participate in a rotating “on call” program to ensure critical issues and outages are coordinated 24 x 7, 365 days a year.
+ Provides strategic input to improve property wide surveillance and makes recommendations as to enhancements. Research, test and recommends emerging surveillance technologies. Develops and maintains resort wide video surveillance standards and requirements. Oversees the implementation of property-wide camera surveillance to Security standards. Manages the completion of surveillance projects.
+ Ensures the team reviews daily and weekly incidents to maximize system up time and minimize poor quality issues. Manges the production of regular statistical reports on outages and system downtimes. Manages software licensing, equipment warranties and budget. Implements surveillance controls and reviews system access, to include quarterly audits and access reviews to ensure compliance with Security standards.
+ Responsible for the development of the Security Technology Coordinators, including training, coaching, and mentoring.
+ Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
+ Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
+ Associate degree is preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
+ 5+ years of combined Physical Security experience and/or Technology experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
+ Computer skills required, including Microsoft Office Suite.
+ Working knowledge of Video Management System, including license plate recognition and video analytics platforms.
+ Ocularis certification preferred.
