Technical Product Owner

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically strong Technical Product Owner to drive the vision, strategy, and delivery of complex technology solutions. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of business and engineering, translating ideas into high quality products that deliver real value.
Product Backlog Ownership and Refinement
+ Own, manage, prioritize, and continuously refine the product backlog in alignment with business objectives.
+ Create clear, detailed, and actionable user stories and epics that incorporate technical requirements and constraints.
+ Partner closely with development teams to ensure stories are well understood, accurately estimated, and broken down into executable tasks.
Technical Stakeholder Collaboration
+ Act as the primary point of contact between business and technical stakeholders to ensure alignment between goals and technical execution.
+ Collaborate with architects, developers, and DevOps teams to design scalable and feasible solutions while providing strong technical input during architecture and design discussions.
Product Strategy and Roadmap Development
+ Contribute to defining and evolving the product vision, strategy, and roadmap based on stakeholder input, market trends, and competitive analysis.
+ Drive continuous product improvement by leveraging metrics, user feedback, and emerging technologies.
Agile Leadership and Delivery
+ Lead sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily standups, and sprint reviews to keep teams focused and productive.
+ Champion Agile best practices and continuously improve team processes.
+ Manage sprint goals, timelines, scope, and priorities to ensure timely and high quality delivery.
Technical Requirements Gathering and Analysis
+ Work closely with engineering teams to translate complex system and technical requirements into clear product features.
+ Understand and document technical workflows, data models, APIs, and integrations.
+ Evaluate and recommend tools, frameworks, and technologies that support product goals.
Cross Functional Collaboration and Communication
+ Serve as a bridge between technical and non technical stakeholders by translating technical concepts into business friendly language.
+ Act as the primary interface for resolving product issues and ensuring alignment across development, operations, and support teams.
+ Facilitate effective technical discussions and decision making.
Quality Assurance and User Acceptance Testing
+ Define and enforce acceptance criteria to ensure high quality deliverables.
+ Collaborate with QA teams to create test plans, support acceptance testing, and ensure product readiness.
+ Lead user acceptance testing to confirm that solutions meet both business and technical requirements.
Product Launch and Post Launch Support
+ Coordinate product releases in partnership with release management, DevOps, and support teams.
+ Monitor product performance after launch and drive enhancements as needed.
+ Provide post release support to address technical issues and stakeholder feedback.
On Premises, Hybrid, and Cloud Environments
+ Support business applications across on premises, hybrid, and cloud environments.
+ Partner with infrastructure and cloud teams to ensure application stability, security, and performance.
+ Support cloud migration initiatives and ensure proper governance, monitoring, and optimization across all environments.
Risk, Compliance, and Security
+ Ensure applications comply with regulatory and security standards such as SOX and PCI DSS. Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to mitigate risks and vulnerabilities.
+ Support audits, risk assessments, and disaster recovery planning for critical systems.
Required Qualifications
Education
+ Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Certifications
+ Preferred certifications include Certified Scrum Product Owner, Professional Scrum Product Owner, or SAFe certifications.
Experience
+ Minimum of three years of experience in product management, business analysis, or a related technical role within an IT environment.
+ Proven experience working with Agile development teams and tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
+ Experience leading technical discussions with developers, architects, and DevOps teams.
+ Preferred experience includes microservices, containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes, cloud native applications, and tools like Git or Jenkins.
Technical Skills and Knowledge
+ Strong understanding of system architecture, APIs, cloud platforms, databases, and software development practices.
+ Familiarity with CI CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
+ Solid knowledge of data management, integrations, automation tools, monitoring, and logging platforms.
