**Kelly Engineering** is seeking an experienced **Maintenance Planner** to join a long-term team in **Seadrift, Texas** ! The Planner is a person experienced in doing maintenance who has the skills and knowledge to create a job package from the work order scope. The package contains all information about required labor material and services to ensure safe, effective and efficient execution of the work.

Key job responsibilities include:

+ Spends time in field to accurately assess and plan repair work that is not archived

+ Streamlines plans to safely and effectively perform repairs

+ Creates job packages with all the necessary documents as determined by Best Practice

+ Actively participates and leverages within the Turnaround Team

+ Utilizes Internet search capabilities to locate and identify spare parts for ordering

+ Works with site Materials Management Department for ordering parts

+ Initiates work requests as needed

+ Fulfills Global Turnaround Work Process role as required

+ Initiates & participates in Root Cause Investigations

+ Coaches and trains others on planning; able and willing to share knowledge for betterment of the team

+ Uses good verbal and written communications skills

+ Must have strong computer skills as a great deal of plant communication occurs via Dow workstations

+ Identifies opportunities for planning optimization

Requirements for Qualification:

+ High School Graduate or GED

+ Good interpersonal skills are required, both written and verbal

+ Prior planning experience a plus; working in an industrial / chemical plant environment

+ Must be willing to work overtime as dictated by turnaround activities
