This is a temporary Assistant Technician, Security position working within a fast-paced, deadline driven environment. You will support the employee ID Badge Hub supporting the Northeast region. You will be verifying citizenship, clearance level and access eligibility for Raytheon Employees and creating their employee identification badges. Your previous experience within the industrial security field as well as your prior experience in personnel management in the defense sector will be essential to your success.
What You Will Do:
+ Verify citizenship documents and ITAR / EAR status for new and existing employees.
+ You will work in the Access Commander management database and CCURE access control system to verify information, update records and print employee ID badges.
+ Track progress on badge creation to meet project deadlines.
+ Coordinate with site security offices throughout the Northeast region to ship new badges for issue.
+ You will take ID badge pictures and transfer them to the CCURE system to create new badges.
+ Update security personnel access lists and databases accordingly.
+ Assist with document control duties, ensuring continuity with operations and compliance with proper shipping, receiving, and accountability of classified material.
+ Assist with visitor access control and personnel security.
Qualifications You Must Have:
+ Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
+ HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with less than 2 years of relevant experience.
+ Experience with processing classified shipments and accountability of classified assets
Qualifications We Prefer:
+ Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of relevant experience.
+ Working knowledge of 32 CFR 117, DoD 5220.22-M (NISPOM) and ISLs.
+ Working knowledge of DISS, submitting VALs, checking incoming visit requirements.
+ Working knowledge of CCURE access control system.
+ Working knowledge of Access Commander Security database.
+ Completion of commensurate General and Industrial Security Courses through the CDSE.

The hourly rate for this role is $20.00 to $35.00. The compensation range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
