Job Summary and Qualifications
As a Senior HR Business Partner, you will provide strategic HR support to Physician Services Group leadership across multiple facilities within our Capital Division, including North and Central Virginia. In this role, you will coach leaders to create healthy work and learning environments for trainees, conduct thorough investigations, interpret policies and programs, and reduce organizational risk. As a senior member of the HR team, you will also have opportunities to lead high-impact, strategic initiatives that shape the future of our workforce.
What you will do in this role:
+ You will advise and counsel on situational issues, performance and discipline of residents through an employment lens, including Title IX investigations, potential resident/fellow terminations, ADA Accommodation, and Resident/Fellow Paid Leave.
+ Coach decision-makers in GME of employment laws as various situations arise for our residents/fellows.
+ Develop and lead training of our hospital HR teams, GME leaders and program directors around resident/fellow policies, programs and requirements.
+ Participate in team learning through regular case review and partnership with fellow GME HR teammates to continue to build the structure for this newly formed team.
+ You will help support the annual resident/fellow onboarding.
What you should have for this role:
+ Bachelor’s degree is required.
+ 5 or more years of relevant work experience.
+ Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an HR Generalist or HR Business Partner is required.
