Description
ProAmpac is seeking an Engineering Intern to support our Wrightstown, WI manufacturing site. The Engineering Intern will assist with engineering tasks including analysis, design support, testing, and troubleshooting under the guidance of senior engineers. The intern will collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to ongoing projects, and gain practical experience in applying engineering principles in a professional environment.
The Engineering Intern role is designed for students or recent graduates seeking hands-on engineering experience. The intern will work closely with experienced engineers, develop technical skills, and contribute to meaningful engineering projects. This is a full-time position located on-site at our Wrightstown, WI manufacturing facility.
What You Get to Do
+ Provide assistance with product trials completed on the production floor
+ Lead Projects to improve operational efficiency
+ Utilize Statistical Measures to show improvement.
+ Elevate complex and/or high priority problems for resolution
+ Read, understand and follow work instructions
+ Provide updates and metrics regarding project status and learning moments using a variety of media
+ Work independently and ability to collaborate with teammates to identify process improvements, gather information and provide feedback
+ Assist other department/team members as needed
+ Must be able to work scheduled hours and overtime as needed
+ All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
+ Currently pursuing a degree at an accredited college or university in Packaging Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field
+ Understanding of standard engineering principals (protocols, process, evaluations, statistical analysis)
+ Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Teams) and Outlook
+ Excellent oral and written communication skills
+ Self-motivated and proactive professional that thrives in a fast-paced environment
+ Ability to follow documented policies and procedures.
+ Ability to manage multiple projects and assignments simultaneously
+ Trouble shooting/problem solving skills
