    About the Role:

    CBRE is seeking a skilled and reliable Mobile Service Technician to join our team in El Paso, TX. This exciting opportunity is dedicated to supporting a national retail organization, providing crucial maintenance and repair services across their facilities. As a Mobile Technician, you will be provided with a company van and the necessary tools to perform your duties effectively.

     

    This position is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function, responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.

    Responsibilities:

    + Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other installed building systems, equipment, and facilities within the designated retail locations.

    + Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.

    + Review assigned work orders, estimate the time and materials needed to complete repairs, and manage and track completion.

    + Support energy management by taking measures to ensure that all systems are operating in the most efficient manner.

    + Inspect new or existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.

    + Utilize effective communication skills to exchange straightforward information with clients, co-workers, and supervisors.

    + Solve straightforward problems using existing procedures, with limited opportunity for exercising discretion.

    + Deliver your own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.

    + Impact is primarily through clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks, described in detail.

    Qualifications:

    + High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

    + Valid Driver’s License required.

    + Must meet the physical requirements of this role, including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.

    + Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.

    + Effective communication skills to exchange straightforward information.

    + Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).

    + Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

    + Basic math skills. Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups.
