Job Profile Summary
Performs in a leadership role within the Electrophysiology Lab and acts as a physician technical extender with the knowledge skills and abilities to support the high end clinical execution of the full array of electrophysiology procedures in the laboratory setting.
+ Demonstrates leadership in the delivery of services.
+ Assist the attending physician or Fellow in the technical performance of electrophysiology procedures.
+ Implements procedure specific technical interventions based upon the individual patient physician and procedure support needs.
+ Actively participates in quality improvement program development and professional growth activities for self while assisting in the professional development of others.
+ Provides for a safe environment of care.
+ In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Bio Medicine a Life Science or related discipline. Specialized formal and/or on the job training in a comprehensive electrophysiology setting or background preparation in Bio Engineering or a Life Science.
Experience: 5 years relevant experience in invasive cardiology preferably relative to this position.
Licensure: Heart Rhythm Society IBHRE Certification for Electrophysiology within 18 months of hire.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Job requires sitting/standing for prolonged periods and frequently bending/stooping. Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull 50 – 100lbs. May be exposed to chemicals, radiation, blood/body fluids and infectious disease.

The starting base rate for this role is $82,700.80 annually. Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education.
