    Our client, a leading organization in the automotive manufacturing industry, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Quality Engineer 4 to join their team. As a Quality Engineer 4, you will be an integral part of the Production/Operations department, supporting cross-functional teams in ensuring the highest standards of dimensional and mechanical quality.

     

    **Job Title:** Quality Engineer (Dimensional and Mechanical Engineering)

    **Location:** 920 Townsend Street Lansing MI 48933

     

    Pay Range: $40 - $45 per hour

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Execute dimensional analysis, validation, and optimization activities for body structures and components.

    + Apply Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles to influence product design and ensure robust dimensional performance.

    + Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to identify and resolve dimensional issues.

    + Utilize Process Engineering methodologies to develop and implement dimensional control plans and strategies.

    + Conduct Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA) specifically related to dimensional deviations and implement corrective actions.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing-related field or equivalent experience.

    + Proven experience in automotive body dimensional engineering or a related field.

    + Excellent people management and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.

    + Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

    + Minimum of 4-5 years of dimensional engineering experience.
