    Our client, a leader in the aerospace and energy industry, is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer II to join their team. As a Mechanical Design Engineer II, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting cross-functional teams and global supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, effective communication, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

    Pay Range:

    What's the Job?

     

    + Design and analyze turbine hot gas path and rotor components for heavy-duty and aeroderivative engines.

    + Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams and supply chain partners to optimize hardware performance and manufacturability.

    + Conduct evaluations and simulations using ANSYS and CAD software, particularly NX, to ensure design integrity.

    + Participate in technical reviews, presenting findings and recommendations to stakeholders.

    + Ensure hardware designs meet product and quality standards, focusing on cost, variation, and manufacturing efficiency.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field from an accredited institution.

    + 4 to 8 years of engineering analysis experience, particularly in turbine component design.

    + Experience designing and analyzing turbine blades, nozzles, shrouds, and rotors using ANSYS.

    + Proficiency in CAD software, preferably NX.

    + Strong understanding of engineering principles and effective communication skills.
