Our client is seeking a dedicated and proactive Computer Support Representative to join their team. As a Computer Support Representative, you will be an essential part of the IT department supporting a dynamic and diverse team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional technical support, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Computer Support Representative
**Location: Corporate Office South** AUSTIN, MN
Pay Range: $21.50/hour
What's the Job?
+ Operate corporate office computer equipment and monitor data communication lines to ensure reliable service across all locations.
+ Provide after-hours support for the company's help desk, assisting with technical issues and user inquiries.
+ Support various functions of the data center, including email administration, user provisioning, and hardware/software troubleshooting.
+ Participate in an intensive training program to develop technical skills and knowledge of company systems.
+ Assist with occasional weekend shifts, holiday coverage, and on-call support based on organizational needs.
What's Needed?
+ Basic understanding of computer networks, components, and endpoint devices such as desktops, laptops, tablets, and smartphones.
+ Ability to analyze complex problems independently and prioritize multiple issues effectively.
+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and support users.
+ Demonstrated problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to resolving technical issues.
+ Willingness to work variable hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
