    Material Handler / Forklift Driver – Warsaw, IN

    Shifts Available:

    + **1st Shift:** 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (training includes initial 1st shift for 2–4 weeks)

    + **2nd Shift:** 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM

    **Pay:** Starting at $17.00/hour

    **Location:** Warsaw, Indiana

    Job Overview:

    We are seeking dependable Material Handlers / Forklift Drivers to join our Distribution Center team in the communication industry. This role involves managing inventory, including receiving, checking in, picking, packing, shipping products, and operating warehouse equipment. While some duties are indoors, a majority of time is spent outdoors in the cable yard, so candidates must be comfortable working outside.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Receive, check in, and put away products

    + Pick, pack, and ship orders accurately

    + Perform inventory verification, cycle counting, and replenishment of stock

    + Transfer products between inventory units following guidelines

    + Operate equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks, order pickers, automated conveyors, cable cutting machines, and other warehouse machinery

    + Assemble, store, cut, and package cable and other products for shipment

    + Follow safety procedures and participate in safety programs

    + Use Warehouse Management Systems, Navision, and Shipping Manifesting systems

    + Meet productivity and accuracy standards

    Qualifications:

    + High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred

    + Forklift certification or prior experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks

    + Comfortable working outdoors for the majority of the shift

    + Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and general computer skills

    + Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety procedures

    + Ability to read, comprehend, and document instructions and inventory data

    + Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, units of measure)

    + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work

    Physical Demands:

    + Regularly talk and hear; frequently sit, stand, use hands, reach, and handle tools or equipment

    + Specific vision abilities including close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and focus adjustment

    Work Environment:

    + Moderate noise level

    + Combination of indoor warehouse and outdoor cable yard work
