    As a **Security Officer - Media Access Control** in **Pasadena, TX** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading technology-focused location, you will monitor entrances and exits, check credentials, and help to deter unauthorized access.     What You'll Do:

    + Monitor and control access to the premises, verifying the credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors in a technology-focused environment.

    + Assist with implementing and following site-specific security-related procedures to help to deter unauthorized entry or activity.

    + Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with Allied Universal and client representatives as needed.

    + Provide customer service to all individuals entering or exiting the location, addressing inquiries and offering directions or assistance as appropriate.

    + Conduct regular and random patrols of the business and perimeter to help to deter security-related risks and identify potential concerns.

    + Document and report any unusual activity, incidents, or security-related breaches according to established protocols.

    + Support emergency response activities by following established procedures and communicating relevant information to appropriate parties.

    Minimum Requirements:

    + Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

    + Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

    + Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
