Description
We are seeking a strategic, highly analytical Licensing Executive to join our Global Pay Movies team. In this role, you will lead end-to-end deal negotiations and shape licensing strategies that support Amazon's Pay film portfolio. You will source and secure Pay Movie Films from Major US Studios, partnering closely with cross-functional teams to deliver compelling content to customers worldwide.
Key job responsibilities
• Lead negotiations with Major US Studios for Pay Movie Films, managing deals from initial outreach through final execution
• Develop data-driven business models, valuation analyses, and content performance assessments to inform deal structures and investment decisions
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners—including Content Strategy, Business Affairs, Marketing, Finance, and Creative teams—to align acquisition decisions with Amazon's strategic objectives, developing strategy documents and presentations to drive alignment
• Build and maintain strong relationships with studio partners to secure competitive positioning for Prime Video
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 7+ years of account management, business development, content licensing or finance experience
- Experience in large complex deal negotiations with a successful track record
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills (e.g. ability to use and modify data sets in Excel, write SQL queries and export data, etc.)
- A track record of excellence in a similar role
- Excellent written communication and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt to a quickly changing, fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of digital video landscape, including solid understanding of digital video distribution technologies
- MBA degree or above in related fields
- Knowledge of the television and media industry
- International content licensing and/or business development experience

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
