Description
The AM production technician will support additive manufacturing operations in a light manufacturing facility.
Key job responsibilities
The technicians will manage machine turn over, parts cleaning, and post-processing by following daily work orders and work instructions. The technician is responsible for completing daily work, following all safety protocols and training, reporting and escalating incidents, and meeting export control requirements where specified. The production technician will report to a production supervisor.
Basic Qualifications
- 1+ years of hands-on experience working on additive parts related to consumer products, engineering parts, and prototype design.
- 1+ years of hands-on experience conducting light assembly work.
- Minimum of a High School diploma or GED.
- Demonstrated attitude of world-class quality, attention to detail, and dedication.
- Demonstrated record of accomplishment of resourcefulness from their previous assignments.
- Ability to support your shift and overtime as necessary.
- Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years using hand tools that required fine detailed work.
- Vocational/ Technical training in digital manufacturing.
- Proven ability to read / work through prints & 3D models.
- Mechanical aptitude for resolving issues as they arise.
- 5+ years steady work experience.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $59,280/year in our lowest geographic market up to $76,960/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
