    Process Operator I – Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

     

    Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring a **Process Operator I** to support pharmaceutical manufacturing operations in a regulated, GMP-compliant environment. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with pay increases after training and long-term growth potential.

    Pay Rate:

    • $25/hour during training (1st shift)

    • $28/hour once transitioned to 2nd shift

    Schedule

    • Training Schedule (First Few Months):

    • Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

    • Permanent Shift After Training:

    • Monday–Thursday | 1:00 PM – 11:30 PM

    **Location:** Malvern, PA

    Position Overview

    The Process Operator I will perform micronization and milling of pharmaceutical materials, including active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) and excipients, following cGMP guidelines, SOPs, and client instructions. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a strong commitment to safety and quality.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Perform entry-level micronization and milling of hazardous and non-hazardous pharmaceutical materials

    • Set up, operate, and monitor processing equipment

    • Accurately complete batch records following Good Documentation Practices (GDPs)

    • Maintain strict adherence to cGMP, SOPs, and safety protocols

    • Identify and report deviations, non-routine events, or GMP deficiencies

    • Clean processing areas and equipment thoroughly

    • Participate in shift handovers, team meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives

    • Strive for First Time Right (FTR) performance metrics

    • Demonstrate flexibility, willingness to learn, and adaptability to new processes

    Required Qualifications

    • High School Diploma or GED

    • Ability to do some heavy lifting and perform moderate physical labor

    • Ability to wear a fully enclosed air suit / respirator hood

    • Basic math skills

    • Strong attendance, punctuality, and dependability

    • Willingness to work overtime, including weekends (as needed)

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Prior manufacturing or production experience

    • Experience working in a GMP or regulated environment

    • Pharmaceutical or chemical processing background

    Physical & Work Environment Requirements

    • Stand or walk up to 8 hours per shift

    • Ability to do some heavy lifting and perform moderate physical labor

    • Perform bending, crouching, climbing, reaching, and twisting

    • Work in loud environments with required hearing protection

    • Safely handle chemicals and high-potency active pharmaceutical ingredients (HPAPI)

    • Pass respiratory medical exam and wear required PPE

    PPE & Dress Code

    • Steel-toe shoes required

    • PPE provided (air suit, respirator hood, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection)
