Phlebotomist II
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Phlebotomist II to join our team at a family health clinic. The primary responsibilities of this role include drawing and processing blood samples, with occasional pediatric cases. You will be utilizing basic phlebotomy skills and a touch system for processing.
Responsibilities
+ Perform an average of 25-30 blood draws daily, serving approximately 80 patients.
+ Draw and process blood samples for both adult and pediatric patients.
+ Collaborate with a team of two other phlebotomists to ensure efficient workflow.
+ Participate in a two-week orientation and training program at the start of employment.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in phlebotomy, blood draw, and venipuncture techniques.
+ 2+ years of phlebotomy experience.
+ High School diploma or GED verification.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience working with patients of all ages is preferred.
Work Environment
The position is based in a medium-sized family health clinic with working hours from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. The work schedule includes a 30-minute lunch break and a 15-minute break. Phlebotomists are expected to stand for most of their shifts, working collaboratively with a small team.

This is a Contract position based out of Waco, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.90/hr.
