    Job Title: BIM Technician

    Job Description

    We are looking for skilled BIM Technicians to join our Design Group. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing facilities such as Semiconductor, High Tech, Data Centers, Industrial, and Chemical facilities. This role requires the ability to understand the project scope and produce comprehensive design documentation in compliance with industry standards and code requirements.

    Responsibilities

    + Understand project scope of work and provide complete detailed design documentation.

    + Design electrical distribution, power, and lighting systems, with medium voltage system design being a plus.

    + Design emergency and standby generator systems.

    + Perform building load calculations in accordance with NEC and IECC guidelines.

    + Coordinate project requirements with the Project Manager and Team Leadership.

    + Communicate project status and any issues or concerns with Team Leadership.

    + Communicate with in-house and external design team members to ensure quality and coordination.

    + Attend out-of-office meetings as required.

    + Conduct pre-design site visits and as-built documentation.

    + Work within established standards and QC/QA practices.

    Essential Skills

    + 3+ years of experience in electrical design within the consulting engineering industry.

    + Proficient with Autodesk AutoCAD and Revit, IECC, ComCheck, Outlook, Word, Excel, and Bluebeam.

    + Strong understanding of the construction process.

    + Familiarity with NFPA National Electrical Code and International Building Codes.

    + Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

    + Experience with distribution layouts, one-line diagrams, lighting layouts, and lighting control systems.

    + Knowledge of SKM and/or EasyPower software.

    + Excellent oral and written communication skills.

    + High attention to detail.

    + Field survey experience.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Minimum of 1 year of Revit experience on Semiconductor, Data Center, or other high-tech projects in MEP.

    Work Environment

    The position is based in North Phoenix at TSMC and requires onsite presence. Working hours fall between 6 AM and 5 PM, with 8-9 hour workdays. The role offers room for growth within the MEP BIM Department and a dynamic work environment.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, AZ.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr.
