    Join a dedicated team responsible for the cleaning and servicing of hospital rooms and facilities. As a janitor, you will play a key role in maintaining a clean and orderly environment, ensuring the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness are met.

    Responsibilities

    + Provide quality customer service by offering one-on-one attention to detail.

    + Sweep, scrub, mop, and polish floors to maintain cleanliness.

    + Vacuum carpets, rugs, and draperies to ensure they are free of dust and dirt.

    + Shampoo carpets, rugs, and upholstery as needed.

    + Dust and polish furniture and fittings to keep them looking their best.

    + Clean metal fixtures and fittings to maintain their shine.

    + Empty and clean trash containers, disposing of trash in a sanitary manner.

    + Clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers to ensure hygiene.

    + Wipe down glass surfaces for a streak-free finish.

    + Make up beds and change linens as required to maintain a fresh environment.

    + Realign furniture and amenities according to the prescribed layout.

    + Respond to guest queries and requests in a professional manner.

    + Address housekeeping problems, such as spills and broken glass, promptly.

    + Contribute to team efforts and exhibit professionalism with customers and fellow associates.

    + Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall cleanliness of the facility.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in cleaning and sanitation practices.

    + Experience in janitorial duties, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting.

    + Ability to provide excellent customer service with attention to detail.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in housekeeping within a hospital or similar environment is a plus.

    Work Environment

    Work in a hospital setting on the 1st shift from 7 AM to 3 PM, Monday through Friday, with rotating weekends. Join a team committed to maintaining a clean and orderly environment, utilizing modern equipment and techniques to meet high standards of cleanliness.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lehighton, PA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $16.75 - $16.75/hr.
