    Job Title: Facilities Attendant** **Job Description

     

    The Facilities Attendant is tasked with ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of the facility and its surroundings. This role involves a variety of maintenance tasks and requires someone who can manage repairs efficiently as directed by the Facilities Coordinator.

    Responsibilities

    + Maintain facility including painting, changing bulbs (interior and exterior), minor plumbing and electrical repairs, repairing walls, and snow removal.

    + Perform cleaning duties such as stripping and waxing floors, cleaning warehouse floors, and bailing cardboard.

    + Assist with stores and trade shows by building props and performing repairs and cleaning, which may include travel.

    + Drive company vehicles to complete errands as directed by the supervisor.

    + Work in excess of 40 hours per week as business needs require, including weekends.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in facilities maintenance, repair, and cleaning.

    + Ability to perform electrical and preventive maintenance.

    + Proficiency in troubleshooting and basic carpentry.

    + Building maintenance skills.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + High school diploma or equivalent experience.

    + Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. regularly and stand for extended periods.

    + Capability to climb ladders/stairs, twist, bend, squat, and kneel.

    + Valid driver's license with no restrictions.

    The role involves working both indoors and outdoors, with varied hours including potential weekend shifts. The work environment requires physical activity, including lifting, standing, and operating company vehicles.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of York, ME.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
