    About the Team

On the Outside Account Development (OAD) team, we develop DoorDash partners to drive engagement, growth, and performance on the DoorDash marketplace. Within OAD, the Strategic Account Development (SAD) org focuses on accelerating adoption and performance of Marketplace Ads & Promos for our most impactful merchant cohorts.

The Franchise SAD team owns one of the largest and most complex growth opportunities within SMB. A large portion of SMB stores are franchise-affiliated, including both Independent and Mixed-ownership franchise brands that require specialized sales motions, longer sales cycles, and deep cross-functional coordination. Dedicated franchise coverage has already proven to drive materially higher revenue per store, and this team is central to scaling that impact.

    About the Role

We are looking for a Strategic Account Development Manager (Franchise) to lead and scale our Franchise-focused SAD team. As a manager, you will train and empower a team of aSADEs, SADEs, and Sr. SADEs while owning regional performance for Ads & Promos across franchise merchants.

This role mirrors the core SAD Manager scope, with additional ownership of franchise-specific go-to-market strategy, including navigating complex decision-maker structures (corporate + franchisees), leading opt-in/opt-out sales motions, and partnering closely with AM, OAM, Product, and S&O teams to improve franchise execution at scale.

You will report into a Senior Manager within Marketplace Sales. This role is flexible in terms of remote and in-office work and requires travel for in-person rep coaching, franchise merchant meetings, and team collaboration.

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will…

+ Grow and lead the team — hire, onboard, and coach franchise-focused aSADEs, SADEs, and Sr. SADEs

+ Coach complex sales motions — support reps on multi-stakeholder franchise deals involving corporate HQ, franchise councils, and independent owners

+ Drive franchise GTM execution — own Ads & Promos adoption, optimization, and retention for Independent and Mixed-ownership franchise brands

+ Partner cross-functionally — work closely with AM/OAM leadership, Product, Sales Strategy & Ops, Analytics, and Enablement to improve franchise outcomes

+ Standardize and scale — help build repeatable franchise playbooks, ROI storytelling, and opt-in workflows

+ Report and influence — deliver clear performance readouts, surface risks and learnings, and help shape franchise GTM strategy

+ Develop reps in the field — travel quarterly to coach reps in-region, attend merchant meetings, and support high-impact pitches

    We’re excited about you because…

+ You have led teams of 5+ reps and can demonstrate strong coaching and performance lift

+ You consistently operate at or above goal and model strong execution and accountability

+ You are comfortable leading through ambiguity and longer sales cycles

+ You have strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills

+ You bring a builder’s mindset and proactively improve processes, tooling, and GTM motions

Applications for this position are accepted on an ongoing basis.
