    Job Title: Material Handler & Assembler

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Material handler & assembler who will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient flow of materials within our department. This position involves organizing and handling materials, adhering to safety standards, and supporting assembly operations when needed.

    Responsibilities

    + Route materials from receiving to the proper areas within the department.

    + Arrange stock for optimal efficiency and accessibility.

    + Adhere to all safety rules and utilize pallet jacks and other material moving tools as necessary.

    + Perform cycle counts of materials to ensure inventory accuracy.

    + Load and deliver unit set carts as defined by a daily build plan.

    + Follow basic Kanban principles.

    + Perform various shipping/receiving, material handling, inventory control, finished goods, and storekeeping duties as assigned.

    + Learn assembly tasks when not needed in material handling.

    Essential Skills

    + 0-1 years of related experience.

    + Ability to stand/walk for up to 10 hours per day.

    + Capability to lift materials weighing up to 40 lbs occasionally.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

    + Familiarity with assembly processes.

    Work Environment

    The work environment is located in Everett, WA, with a schedule from 7am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday. The role involves physical activity, requiring standing and walking for extended periods and handling materials safely using appropriate tools.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Everett, WA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
