    Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description

     

    We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team for a 2nd shift position. This role involves working Monday through Friday, from 3pm to 11pm, to ensure the smooth operation of our food production equipment through both scheduled and emergency repairs.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform mechanical and electrical repairs on food production equipment.

    + Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs during production and scheduled maintenance during machine service.

    + Prepare and set up machinery for scheduled production runs.

    + Execute mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repairs of packaging and production machines.

    + Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.

    + Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and make adjustments.

    + Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.

    + Conduct a variety of plumbing maintenance and electrical functions.

    + Utilize various hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.

    + Detect faulty operations, defective material, and report unusual situations to proper supervision.

    + Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.

    + Perform other duties as assigned or needed.

    Essential Skills

    + Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.

    + Proficiency in reading blueprints.

    + Experience with electrical, mechanical repairs, and preventative maintenance.

    + 3+ years of mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience.

    + 3+ years of preventative maintenance experience.

    + 3+ years of blueprint reading, hydraulics, pneumatics, and welding experience.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + High School Diploma or GED required.

    + 5 years of maintenance experience in a high-speed production environment required.

    Work Environment

    This role operates within a GMP food manufacturing company with refrigerated areas maintained at 30-40 degrees. The working hours are from 3pm to 11pm, Monday through Friday.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $72800.00/yr.
