A multi-billion dollar financial services company located near Sayreville, NJ, is looking for a Sr. Accountant. This is a hybrid opportunity (3 days in office/2 work from home)

Responsibilities

+ Prepare and review quarterly financial statements, investor capital account statements, and supporting workpapers.

+ Reconcile, review, and manage cash balances.

+ Deliver investor communications via our online investor portal.

+ Book and review journal entries.

+ Prepare and send capital call and distribution notices to investors.

+ Own processes beginning to end and manage every aspect of your assigned Funds’ operations.

+ Assist with the annual audit by providing supporting documents to our external auditors.

+ Compile and analyze data to be presented to senior management

Requirements

Qualifications:

+ 2+ years experience in private equity accounting, with public accounting experience a plus.

+ Bachelor’s degree in accounting.

+ Ability to operate effectively with limited supervision and are a self-starter.

+ Strong attention to detail.

+ Ability to work well independently and within a team atmosphere.

+ Passed the CPA exam or are actively pursuing.
