Description

Robert Half is looking for a dedicated Litigation Legal Secretary to join our client on a long-term contract basis in Costa Mesa, California. You will be supporting multiple labor and employment partners in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage legal calendars and deadlines using tools such as Compulaw or similar software, ensuring timely filings and compliance.

• Handle e-filing processes for both state and federal courts with accuracy and efficiency.

• Prepare for trials by organizing documents and coordinating logistics.

• Open and maintain legal case files, ensuring all records are up-to-date and accessible.

• Collaborate with attorneys and staff to ensure smooth workflow and communication.

• Assist in scheduling and calendaring key dates for litigation and labor/employment cases.

• Support legal document preparation, including formatting and proofreading.

Requirements

• Proven experience in e-filing for state and federal courts.

• Proficiency in calendaring software, such as Compulaw, or willingness to learn.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, especially in trial preparation.

• Familiarity with litigation processes and labor/employment law is highly preferred.
