    Description

    Responsibilities:

    • Prepare monthly network payments and accruals, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

    • Reconcile payments and accruals while identifying and resolving discrepancies.

    • Analyze and manipulate large datasets using advanced database tools to support payment calculations and financial reporting.

    • Develop financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and decision-making processes.

    • Examine operational and financial metrics to identify risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

    • Assist in creating detailed financial reports, including weekly, monthly, and annual summaries.

    • Research variances between budgets and forecasts, providing clear explanations for results.

    • Prepare and review journal entries during month-end and year-end close processes.

    • Collaborate on process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and standardize practices.

    • Conduct ad hoc financial projects, including data analysis and reporting, as needed.

     

    Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

     

    • A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in industry or public accounting.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.

    • Expertise in database tools such as Teradata, SQL, and Microsoft Visual Studio.

    • Strong knowledge of financial systems like Oracle and Essbase.

    • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to handle large datasets effectively.

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey complex financial information clearly.

    • Proven ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
