Description
We are looking for an experienced and strategic VP/Director of Finance to join our team on a long-term contract basis for a large publicly traded client located north of Boston. This role offers a unique opportunity to provide financial leadership and drive value realization within a manufacturing subsidiary. The ideal candidate will excel in financial planning and analysis, executive-level reporting, and operational business partnering.
Responsibilities:
• Provide financial oversight, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives and long-term goals.
• Evaluate acquisitions and assess value realization against established business cases.
• Develop and refine five-year financial plans to support organizational growth and performance.
• Lead core FP& A processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Prepare and deliver executive-level presentations and reports to communicate financial insights.
• Collaborate with operational teams to enhance business partnerships and decision-making.
• Conduct ROI modeling to evaluate investment opportunities and optimize financial outcomes.
• Manage month-end close processes and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Develop and implement cash flow forecasts to maintain financial stability.
• Support mergers and acquisitions activities, including financial modeling and due diligence.
Requirements • Proven experience in financial leadership roles within a manufacturing or similar industry.
• Expertise in financial planning and analysis, including budgeting and forecasting.
• Strong background in mergers and acquisitions, including financial modeling and assessment.
• Proficiency in preparing and delivering executive-level presentations and reports.
• Ability to conduct ROI modeling and provide actionable insights for business decisions.
• Solid understanding of cash flow management and month-end close processes.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to foster effective business partnerships.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to articulate and execute long-term financial plans.
