Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Entry-Level Accountant to join our team in San Antonio, Texas. This long-term contract role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with foundational accounting experience to enhance their skills in a dynamic manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will actively contribute to financial processes, reporting accuracy, and collaboration within a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update general ledger accounts through journal entries and reconciliations.

• Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

• Prepare financial statements and reports in compliance with organizational standards.

• Reconcile inventory accounts and support cost accounting efforts.

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently.

• Contribute to budgeting and forecasting activities by analyzing financial data.

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent and accurate financial information.

• Support audits by compiling necessary documentation and responding to inquiries. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounting or related functions.

• Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting systems (manufacturing system experience is a plus).

• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

• Knowledge of cost accounting principles is an advantage.
