Description

We are looking for an experienced Controller to join our team in York, Pennsylvania. This role is crucial in ensuring the accuracy of financial records, supporting strategic decision-making, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in corporate accounting and a proven ability to lead financial operations effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all corporate accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.

• Prepare and deliver accurate financial reports to senior management and stakeholders, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

• Manage balance sheet and account reconciliation processes to maintain precise financial records.

• Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support cash management and budgeting strategies.

• Establish and maintain robust internal controls to protect assets and ensure compliance with organizational policies.

• Lead the development and monitoring of annual budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with financial objectives.

• Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate timely and efficient audit processes.

• Stay informed of changes in accounting regulations and standards to ensure up-to-date financial reporting.

• Take proactive measures to enhance financial operations and drive organizational success.

Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required; CPA or equivalent certification is preferred.

• Demonstrated experience in public accounting or as a Controller within a manufacturing environment.

• Comprehensive knowledge of cash management principles and advanced technical accounting standards.

• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero; familiarity with advanced financial tools is an added advantage.

• Exceptional analytical abilities to perform account analysis and reconcile general ledger entries.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage competing priorities effectively.

• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external auditors to meet financial objectives.

• Commitment to driving continuous improvement in financial processes and operations.
