Description

We are looking for a skilled Data Analyst III to join our remote team on a long-term contract. This role involves conducting detailed financial analyses, identifying trends, and delivering actionable recommendations that drive business success. The ideal candidate will independently collaborate with multiple business groups and top-tier stakeholders to enhance processes and implement data-driven solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Perform in-depth analyses to identify trends and provide actionable recommendations to improve business processes.

• Present findings through clear summaries, visualizations, and discussions, gaining stakeholder commitment for implementation.

• Develop advanced data models and programs to support complex business analyses.

• Collaborate with business partners to assess information needs and translate them into actionable projects.

• Retrieve, verify, and prepare data from multiple sources for analysis, ensuring accuracy and reliability.

• Create comprehensive queries, tools, and spreadsheets to support management decision-making.

• Compile reports, graphs, and charts to forecast trends and recommend process improvements.

• Act as a liaison for departmental projects, sharing expertise and supporting cross-functional initiatives.

• Mentor less experienced staff by providing guidance on assignments and training.

• Deliver data insights to external agencies, vendors, and stakeholders when required.

Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Accounting, Economics, or Statistics.

• Minimum of five years of relevant experience, including two years in data analysis; a Master’s degree may substitute for experience.

• Strong understanding of business processes and systems.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, charts, and macros.

• Experience with databases and creating PowerPoint presentations with data visualizations.

• Highly skilled in programming languages such as R for data analysis.

• Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders and teams.

• Ability to recommend improvements based on data-driven insights and statistical analysis. Innovation starts with people.®
