About the Role
We’re seeking an Intermediate Systems Software Programmer to join a dynamic IT team responsible for supporting applications, systems, databases, and servers across the organization. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys problem‑solving, building efficient solutions, and contributing to meaningful technical initiatives.
You’ll work hands‑on with SQL databases, application development tools, reporting platforms, and modern web technologies—while collaborating with developers, stakeholders, and technical partners. After an initial onsite onboarding period, the role offers hybrid remote flexibility.
What You’ll Do
• Manage and maintain SQL databases—including creation, optimization, backups, and complex queries.
• Develop, integrate, and support applications, ensuring smooth deployment and reliable performance.
• Build meaningful data insights through SSRS and Power BI reporting.
• Support websites and CMS platforms, including updates, troubleshooting, and enhancements.
• Assist with the installation and upkeep of systems, servers, and applications.
• Partner with internal teams and vendors to resolve issues and improve efficiency.
• Occasionally provide after‑hours support during system upgrades or critical incidents.

+ Familiarity with PM methodologies or tools is beneficial
What You Bring
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
+ (or equivalent experience)
+ At least two years of experience working with SQL databases and application support
+ Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks
+ A proactive mindset and collaborative approach

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tallahassee, FL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr.
